Women Empowerment
Confidence, skills and a stronger voice for women.
Naari Shakti Women Welfare Charitable Trust
Together, we are empowering women
Led by President Safiena Joseph, Naari Shakti works with women, children and families — through education, health awareness, safety, hygiene and social welfare programmes.
About Us
Naari Shakti Women Welfare Charitable Trust works for the empowerment of women and the welfare of children — supporting individuals and their families through difficult times and helping safeguard vulnerable people.
The work focuses on improving people's lives and working closely with professionals in health and social care. What began in the Karnataka belt is now expanding PAN India, with one aim: to spread women empowerment nationwide.

Our Work
From awareness sessions to distributions on the ground — here is how Naari Shakti works with women, children and families in their own communities.
Women Empowerment
Women are at the heart of everything Naari Shakti does. Through its network of female members, the trust brings women together to learn, support one another and take their rightful place at home, at work and in society.
Education & Children
Child welfare and education go hand in hand. The trust runs education awareness drives and distributes school bags and books so that children can walk into class ready to learn.
Health & Fitness
From fitness events for every age group to cancer and health awareness sessions, the trust encourages communities to take care of their health early and with confidence.
Safety & Rights
Awareness is the first step to safety. The trust builds awareness of self-defence and of women's rights at the workplace under the POSH Act, 2013.
Hygiene & Environment
Hygiene is dignity. The trust spreads hygiene awareness, distributes sanitary pads and Swachhata kits, and encourages communities to protect the environment by growing plants.
Livelihood
Through Graha Udyog, the trust encourages home-based enterprise — so that women can earn, grow and stand on their own feet.
